Even this week after the latest government restriction, Bartech Parts received a call from a client at 11.30 am urgently looking for a starter motor for their Cummins Onan Generator.
They had been quoted a lead time of 5/7 days, so they came to us.
We sourced the part from our UK supply chain which was picked, packed and shipped the same day to the vessel for delivery at 3.00 pm.
This allowed our customer to have their fleet engineer fit the starter and get the vessel back to work the following morning as required.
